 Nigerian genius, Saheela Ibraheem, 19, made history On Thursday, 
February, 26, when she was honoured with an official reception in the 
White House by the US President, Barack Obama and the First Lady, 
Michelle.<br /> <br /> Saheela Ibraheem got into the Ivy League Harvard at 
the age of 15, where she is currently studying neurobiology — a branch 
of science that studies the brain — and has been listed among the 
“World’s 50 Smartest Teenagers.” She was also accepted for admission by 
13 other top colleges in the United States, including the MIT, 
Princeton, Columbia, and six Ivy League institutions, choosing Harvard, 
she became one of the youngest students to ever attend the university. 
She will be graduating in May this year.<br /> <br /> Speaking after an 
introductory speech by Ibraheem at the White House, President Obama 
stated that “there are a lot of teenagers in the world. Saheela is like 
one of the 50 smartest ones. That’s pretty smart. And she’s a wonderful 
young lady. She’s like the State Department and the National Institute 
of Health all rolled into one. And we are so proud of your 
accomplishments and all that lies ahead of you. And you reflect our 
history. Young people like you inspire our future.”<br /> <br /> Ibraheem, 
who skipped two grades in school, said the key to success is figuring 
out what you love to learn as early as possible, which she did at the 
young age of five.<br /> <br /> “If you are passionate about what you do, 
and I am passionate about most of these things, especially with math and
 science, it will work out well,” she told CBS 2s Cindy Hsu. In 
addition, Ibraheem speaks four languages that include Arabic, Spanish 
and Latin.</span><br />

<span><span>Her mother, Shakirat Ibraheem, said her daughter has been way 
ahead of the academic game since kindergarten — never cutting corners 
and trying to do everything on her own. “She’s like always independent,”
 she said. “I never get to help with her homework because she’d say 
‘it’s my work mommy, not yours.’”<br /> <br /> Ibraheem’s recognition and 
reception was part of the “Black History Month” celebration in the US, 
which comes up in February. The “Black History Month”, takes root from 
the activities of the “Association for the Study of African American 
Life and History.” Every year, Americans set aside the month of February
 to celebrate the central role that African-Americans have played in 
every aspect of American life especially the march for freedom and 
equality, jobs and justice, the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act,
 and some profound contributions African-Americans make in the American 
culture.<br /> <br /> Present at the evening event were members of the US 
Congress, including Leader Nancy Pelosi, and members of the

The Nigerian military released a statement today saying that during 
their search of Baga, Borno state following their recapture of the city,
 they found and arrested some terrorists dressed as women. Find the

 cordon and search in Baga has revealed some terrorists disguising as 
women.  The searches are also yielding more discoveries of arms 
especially bombs hidden in various locations, especially Baga 
town. Apart from those captured in the course of fighting, many arrests
 of terrorists hiding in the town are being made and troops are still 
busy interrogating the suspects.<a href="https://www.blogger.com/null" name="more"></a></blockquote>
Meanwhile, in furtherance of the mission to clear terrorists from all
 their enclaves by the military, the Nigerian Air Force has stepped up 
its air bombardment of identified targets in Gwoza, Bama and Sambisa 
forest, preparatory to other phases of the mission. The air strikes have
 been highly successful as they achieved the aims, hitting vital targets
 with required precision.  Terrorists are now in disarray as they 
scamper to escape from the impact of air bombardment of their locations 
in the forest.<br />

Having successfully liberated Baga where the terrorists have been 
marauding, the troops’ attention has now been focused on consolidation 
of the security of the area to pave way for return of citizens.<br />

 the key difference between Esther Okade and other children her age is 
that she has been accepted to study for a university maths degree - 
despite not going to school.</span></div>

 from Walsall, West Midlands, has enrolled on an Open University course 
months after she passed her A-levels - and wants to study for a PhD 
before running her own bank.</span></div>

 girl, who gained a C grade in her maths GCSE aged six, has joined the 
course which started this month. Her younger brother Isiah is already 
studying for his A-levels - also aged six.</span></div>

 siblings are both home-schooled by their mother Omonefe, who has 
converted the living room of their semi-detached, three-bedroom house 
into a makeshift classroom.</span></div>

 Mrs Okade, 37, said: ‘Esther is doing so well. She took a test recently
 and scored 100 per cent. Applying to the university was an interesting

 even had to talk to the vice-chancellor. After they interviewed her 
they realised that this has been her idea from the beginning. From the 
age of seven Esther has wanted to go to university.</span></div>

 I was afraid it was too soon. She would say, “Mum, when am I 
starting?”, and go on and on and on. Finally, after three years she told

Somalia-based terrorist group Al Shabaab, has threatened to attack malls in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.</div>

The group made the threats via a video released over the weekend, <a href="http://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/al-shabab-calls-westgate-style-attack-u-s-canada-u-n310441" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><strong>NBC News</strong> </a>reports.</div>

In the video, the group’s lethal 2013 attack of the <strong>Westgate Mall</strong>
 in Nairobi, Kenya in which 60 people died, was referenced. The 
terrorists reportedly stated that the purported impending attacks would 
be similar to that of Westgate.</div>

President Jonathan says despite former Pres. Obasanjo's recent 
verbal attacks on his administration, he still sees him as his father 
and his first Political son. GEJ said God used 
people, including the former president to make him become the President 
of Nigeria. President Jonathan said this in an interview with Tribune in

frightening investors, especially those who invest hot cash, to pull out
 their money from the country and that would affect the stock market and
 it would affect the economy. For one reason or the other, Obasanjo may disagree with me as his 
first political son. You can even disagree with your own biological 
children, as a human being, not to talk of disagreeing with your 
political children. So, he can agree or disagree with me, but the 
utterances have to be managed in a way that it does not affect the

On how he felt watching Chief Obasanjo destroy his PDP membership card on the 
television, Jonathan said the incident had no effect on him because

otherwise engaged. I remember looking at Barry’s face and seeing a big 
smile come over it; I knew everything would be fine, and that life had

We became committed swingers, spending weekends meeting up with 
couples or going to parties to swap partners. Suddenly everything was 
exciting. You’d be at work, and you’d think about what you were up to 
that evening and it sent a shiver down your spine. Some couples – like

stopped. Others you’d see only once. The night I slept with 14 men was 
at a swingers’ party in Manchester. I remember driving there feeling
